Voronoi lamp

The design of the lamp is based on a simple Voronoi cell. According to the area and circumference of the single faces, we developed a pattern using the Delaunay triangulation. Through the holes and one missing face, the light results in a playful pattern of illumination and shadow. The light alienates the mathematical forumla and projects it onto the walls. By combining multiple Voronoi bodies the lamp can be extended and adapted in the space. The lamps are made of laser cutted chipboard and contain LED bulbs, which change color and intensity in a soft rhythm.
